The finishes of the HiddenHUB will be a perfect match to our current HiddenRadio2 finishes. You can see some images of the HUB’s finishes on our website. Here are some good product references too: Arctic White: It is very similar to the standard white used by Apple. For a reference, just take a look at the glossy white used by Apple on the power chargers. Platinum Silver: It is designed to match the silver used on the iPad. How does the adaptive sound technology works?
With proximity sensors around the perimeter and a built in accelerometer, the HUB can collect a lot of data on the surrounding environment. The algorithm on the logic board then analyzes it and creates an optimized, ad-hoc sound profile for that specific space. What is the function of the Accelerometer?

What type of Wi-Fi is it?

When a Hub is connected to 2 HiddenRadio2’s, can they function in stereo mode?

When connected to two HiddenRadio2’s, does the HiddenHUB support 5.1?
Currently it doesn’t. However, since it is an extreme nice-to-have, we are seriously looking into it. We may be able to do it with a DSP upgrade; we are working to confirm if this is possible. Will I be able to play music from other streaming devices when the HiddenHUB is connected with an optical input port to the TV? (After the TV is off)
Yes, the wireless connection will always have precedence over the wired ones. This means you can always play from other devices wirelessly even when connected via aux in or optical in. What is the power output of the HiddenHUB?
RMS power and wattage can be totally misleading. The perceived power is not dependent only on the watts alone. It depends also on the size and specs of the speaker component. This means one amplifier with a certain wattage could give totally different acoustic results in terms of power perception, depending on the speakers connected to it. Is the HiddenHUB compatible with the SONOS system?

Can I install Apps on the HiddenHUB to stream music directly, or is another device always necessary?
We have chosen not to follow this approach (even if our hardware could do that) because you would always need a phone or another device as a remote to control these apps. So we decided to keep it simple and mostly native to the main technologies (Bluetooth, AirPlay, DLNA, etc.) so you don’t need any app (or remote app) to stream from your device. Can the HiddenHUB be mounted to the ceiling?
It is certainly possible, but we do not recommend it. There are buttons on the rear of the HUB that would be difficult to access one it is mounted on the ceiling. Given your history on the HiddenRadio2, how confident are you on the schedule?
On the HiddenRadio1 we delivered it within around 6 months. We took longer on the HiddenRadio2 as we used a new software house and this caused unforeseen issues that just could not be budgeted for. We have since returned to our previous, much more reliable software house for the HiddenHUB. The schedule provided is our estimate working with their schedule as well. On our main page we have tried to outline these risks as best as possible. This is Kickstarter, and therefore there are some risks involved. By implementing production safeguards and conducting a high level of research, we’ve dramatically reduced these risks. But if this is not enough for you, then please do not back this project. Are you planning to share samples with the media for sound quality evaluation?

Why are the international shipping costs higher?

How can add additional products to my pledge?

We don’t offer stretch goals, as we really want to offer backers as much as we possibly can at the time of launch. BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
